Three farm families decided to integrate their operations and try to maximize their profit potential in their areas of expertise the further the conversations went along the more excited they became in the potential of what the future would bring to this thriving business venture. In addition, they all came to the conclusion that the common household actively seeks a source of meat that is safe and is a premium standard for the industry.

Central Lean LLC is a partnership of three Central Illinois farmers whose goal was to provide top quality beef to discriminating consumers direct from the farm.
Dave Leffler and Dave McClure maintain a separate herd of purebred Charolais cattle. Through crossbred breeding programs, the purebred seedstock provide genetics that are superior. This includes animals that excel in tenderness, quality grades and overall animal health while maintaining uniformity in your final product.
