Enjoy a spectacular belly dance show that benefits the Illinois breast cancer organization Network of Strength.
Bellies for Life is an annual all belly dance breast cancer fund raiser.
Proceeds of this yearly event are donated to a chosen breast cancer organization. Thanks to the special amazingly supportive community in Champaign-Urbana, almost everything required for this night is either donated (the space by the HighDive, for example) or accounted for by volunteers (dancers, emcee, doormen, camera man etc.). This minimizes the costs and maximizes the total donation.
Other than money we are striving to raise, via this festive event, breast cancer awareness and encourage young women to perform self exams.
Bellies For Life aims at further exposing the local crowd to the art of Belly Dance. This is a night of fun and entertainment, all the while for a extraordinary good cause.
Under age 19 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
