Child and Pet Safety Class

Don’t let your child become Fido and Mitten’s lunch. Learn how to keep your pets and kids safe around each other. The first hour of class is devoted to dog/child safety, and the second hour will be devoted to cat/child safety. The class will utilize videos and demonstrations to teach you about cardinal values of safety between dogs/cats and children under the age of 6, along with information about dog and cat behavior that puts children at risk for bites and scratches. You may choose to attend the entire class or just the session that pertains to your particular needs. The veterinarian teaching this class is a well-regarded professional speaker on animal behavior, with a focus on positive handling techniques for dogs and cats.
