Engineering Open House 2012
“Dream, Design, and Discover” at this year’s Engineering Open House, brought to you by the Engineering Council and Engineering Department at University of Illinois. Visitors of all ages will converge on campus to see and experience the technological achievements of students in the College of Engineering. Exciting additions this year include an exhibit of incredible machines behind the makings of James Bond movies and a Tesla Coil musical performance. Be sure not to miss our Friday Night Event, hosted by Danny Forster, the TV host of Science Channel series, Build it Bigger. From high school- and college-level robotics competitions, to Rube Goldberg machines, to over 200 student exhibits, there’s a lot to see and do for everyone. This is the largest student-run event at the University of Illinois with over 20,000 visitors each year. Don’t miss out on this fun and free event! Friday, March 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the University of Illinois College of Engineering.
