If it’s Horsey it’s at Illinois Horse Fair March 2-4, 2012
Top national clinicians and equine educators join vendors offering everything equestrian at the 23rd Annual Illinois Horse Fair, Friday-Sunday, March 2-4, Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield. Lead clinicians will include Guy McLean and Charles Wilhelm.
Also 140 commercial vendors, breed and sport demos, stallion row and parade, HorsesForSale Aisles, the All-Youth Horse Judging Trials and more horse trailers on site than at any other show or fair in the state.
New this year will be HorseCapades Equestrian Variety Show, featuring horse breeds and riding styles from around the world. HorseCapades is a celebration of horses and man’s kinship as well as great family fun.
Horse Fair opens on Friday from 1-7 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. HorseCapades is Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with separate admission and tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children/seniors; preferred seating tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children/seniors. A reduced admissions charge for Horse Fair tickets for Friday only, $6 for adults and $4 for children/seniors; Saturday or Sunday $12 for adults and $6 for children/seniors; Weekend passes (all three days) are available for $20 for adults and $10 for children/seniors.
