With the Holiday Market season coming to an end and months until Market at the Square begins, the UBA has made an exciting decision. For the first time, they will be extending the market season year-round by bringing you the Middle Market. This brand new market will take place on the 3rd Saturday of January, February, March and April inside of Lincoln Square from 8am to 1pm. This event is free and open to the public.
A hugely positive response from the current Holiday Market vendors and the supportive environment Urbana residents create for markets encouraged the UBA to take this exciting step. The Middle Market will feature many of the vendors who have attended the Holiday Market and Market at the Square and will also feature new vendors. Being a producer-only market, all of the items available for purchase will be made, grown, or produced right here in Illinois. Featured items will include baked goods, jewelry, dog biscuits and pet accessories, candles, soaps and body care items, plants and produce, and much, much more!
"The UBA is extremely excited about this opportunity to extend the market season year-round. We take pride in our Urbana Market community and look forward to the opportunity to support all of the small businesses that participate." - Cynthia Johnson, Executive Director, UBA
What's better than local gifts, baked goods, and crafts year-round? We can't think of much.
