Babysitters age 11 to 14 are invited to participate in Safe Sitters®, a program that teaches adolescents babysitting responsibilities, supervision of children, age-specific characteristics of children, accident prevention and emergency actions. Infant and child CPR will be introduced. Class members will also learn basic care of children including correct techniques for holding, diapering, feeding and burping a baby. The classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call (217) 383-6962 to register. Class location will be provided at the time of registration. There is NO fee for this class.
