"Happy Birthday Play Museum!" The MaryAnn MacLean Play Museum is turning 1! Help us celebrate the first year of the "Play Museum." Make a birthday decoration, enjoy yummy treats, and play in the "Play Museum!" Super Saturdays at the Illinois State Museum are especially designed for children 4-8 years old and are free and open to the public. Activities are ongoing from 11am-3pm, take 30-45 minutes to complete and feature take-home crafts. Participants may stay as long as they wish and parents are invited to participate with their children. The Museum is located at 502 S. Spring Street in Springfield, and is open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday, noon to 5:00pm on Sunday. Admission is free. For more information call 217-782-6044.
