The Urbana High School Student Senate is hosting the 41st Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. On Thanksgiving Day from 5 pm to 7 pm at Urbana High School, a FREE meal will be provided to everyone who attends. There is no paperwork involved, and it allows all to simply walk in the UHS Commons, sit down and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. Local businesses supply the food, and the high school pays for the dinner from money collected through school fundraisers. Volunteers are also available to pick up those who would like to attend the dinner, but do not have a ride.
Donations are still needed in order to pay for the cost of the meal (monetary are accepted and appreciated). Volunteers are needed to help set up, decorate, take orders, serve the meal, and pick-up those who do not have a ride.
